Our Story

Chencho’s, located in Downtown South Pittsburg, Tennessee, offers authentic Mexican cuisine crafted by Oaxacan cooks, known for their delicious, traditional dishes and homemade corn tortillas, alongside Americana options with flour tortillas. The vibrant new space features a beautifully styled downstairs with pops of emerald green, light pink, and gold, and an upstairs overlooking the Princess Theatre and downtown. Named in honor of the owner’s grandfather, Inocencio Colchado, and her husband, Ausencio Rios—both lovingly called “Chencho” and sharing a September 22nd birthday—the restaurant is a heartfelt tribute to family heritage.
